Classic Cocktail Recipes – Bloody Mary

The Bloody Mary may have started out as a drink. Then it became a meal in a glass. Now it is just a competition to see how much food a person can balance on top of a drink. Fried chicken, sliders, lobster claws have all made an appearance on this drink. Not matter how you dress it up, its still one of the world's great brunch drinks.


  • Glass: Collins glass
  • 8 oz. chilled tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. vodka
  • 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce or more to taste
  • salt and fresh ground pepper
  • Garnish: lime wedge and pickled asparagus


  1. Combine vodka, tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire and Tabasco in a chilled Collins glass.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and stir well.
  3. Top with salt and pepper and garnish with lime and pickled asparagus.
